What to bring
- Photo ID and your insurance card

- Recent medical records and test results, if you have them
- For children: vaccination records

What happens during the visit
- Paperwork. You'll fill out forms about your health history, family history, and insurance.
- Vital signs. Blood pressure, weight, and other basic measurements.

- A plan. This may include lab tests, prescriptions, vaccines, or referrals.
Prescriptions
In the US, prescriptions are usually sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose. Tell us which pharmacy you use, and pick up your medication there.
